Redistricting


In the March 20 General Primary Election Chicago voters will be choosing candidates in the NEW districts for US Congress, Illinois General Assembly, and Cook County Board of Review. A voter can determine her/his new districts using the Chicago Board of Elections web site: ChicagoElections.com.

Chicago Wards

The new ward map was adopted by the Chicago City Council on January 19, 2012. The new map will not take effect until the 2015 elections for aldermen.
