Kick Single-Use Plastic & Waste Now

Disposable items like foam cups and containers, grocery bags, utensils, bottles, and packaging make up nearly half of the plastic we use. 22 million pounds of plastic enter the Great Lakes each year, and just over half of that ends up in Lake Michigan.

The hard truth is we simply can’t recycle our way out of this problem. We all have a role to play in kicking our single-use plastic crisis, and that includes using our voices for policies that drive change at scale.

Use this easy form to tell your legislators we need a foam foodware and plastic bag ban in Illinois!

Thank you for taking action!
