Act Now for Voting Rights, Gun Control & More

Witness slips are a quick way to make your voice heard in state government—they are read during committee hearings and help inform legislators as to where people stand.

Submit the witness slips below to support legislation that addresses voting rights, gun control, climate change education, and civic engagement.

Restore voting rights

In Illinois, there are over 30,000 people incarcerated in state prisons, unable to vote but still impacted by the decisions of elected officials. HB39 would end felony disenfranchisement in Illinois and allow people in prison the opportunity to vote!

Please submit a witness slip as a PROPONENT in support of the bill by 2 pm on Wednesday, March 20.

Prevent government corruption
