Clerk

The Chicago city clerk is an elected official of the government of the City of Chicago.

The city clerk’s office keeps records of all Chicago City Council meetings, agendas and ordinances, and reports. The city clerk’s office also sells city vehicle stickers, residential zone parking permits, and certain licenses and IDs. 

The city clerk’s website livestreams all City Council and Committee meetings on the homepage. The City Council Division tab on the navigation bar offers a shortcut to various services and archives related to City Council and Committees, including the calendar, past and impending legislation, and the City Council Rules of Order.
