Treasurer

Hollis Burgess has been a member of League since 1995, first in Glencoe and then in Chicago after moving back into the city. She has served on the Boards of both LWV Glencoe and LWVIL.

LWV Chicago’s Treasurer since 2020, she previously served on the Chicago Board as Operations Chair from 2019-2020. Hollis has also served on the Nominating Committee twice. 

Married with two adult daughters and two grandsons, her husband and she run a summer business in Wisconsin. An administration geek (as opposed to a political wonk), her focus tends to be on education and finances.
