It’s Time to Vote

Early Voting sites are now open in all wards and will operate through Election Day, February 28. Find a location near you.

  • Weekdays: 9:00 am–6:00 pm

  • Saturday: 9:00 am–5:00 pm

  • Sunday: 10:00 am–4:00 pm

All 50 local ward Early Voting sites and the Board Supersite (191 N. Clark) will be open as voting centers on Election Day from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Vote By Mail (VBM) ballots may be deposited in Drop Boxes at all Early Voting sites and Election Day voting centers. See the LWV Chicago Election Briefing for more election information, including the election of community members for each of 19 police districts. Unlike the general Municipal Election, which will go to a runoff in April if there is no clear winner, voters have only ONE chance to elect three members of each Police District Councils. There is no runoff, so the three highest vote getters for each council will be elected on February 28. This is the only opportunity for voters to make their choice.

For information about candidates for Police District Councils, see the Illinois Voter Guide.
