We Will Chicago
Learn more about We Will Chicago, a new three-year, citywide planning initiative under Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot that will encourage neighborhood growth and vibrancy while addressing social and economic inequities that impair Chicago’s legacy as a global city.

We Will Chicago is staffing booths at neighborhood events this summer to connect with residents about the proposed citywide plan. Residents can stop by We Will booths to take a survey and provide input on the We Will plan’s goals—and get a special prize for participating.

The Metropolitan Planning Council, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and City of Chicago are hosting a series of presentations on We Will Chicago. Each program focuses on a particular aspect of the plan and features panel discussions by international and local experts, as well as an interactive workshop so viewers can provide feedback and input on the plan’s draft policies.
