Voter Education Director

2025-2027

As the Director of Voter Education, Agnes keeps the voters’ needs at the forefront of her mind, guiding every aspect of her work. Her earlier work in voter advocacy and education included fielding phone calls for the Election Protection Network and reporting issues Tennessee voters encountered at the polls during the 2016 presidential election. She joined LWV Chicago’s Board as Voter Education Director in 2025.

Before relocating to Chicago, Agnes engaged in dynamic coalition building and community outreach initiatives, spearheading Common Cause Georgia’s robust Election Protection field program during the 2022 and 2023 election cycles.

Agnes’s additional work included serving as a frontline researcher and advocate for the Tennessee NAACP and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law's Tennessee Participatory Redistricting Project. Through her work, she emphasized the need for community voice and input in the redistricting process while amplifying the importance of ensuring fair representation, equal protection, and compliance with the Voting Rights Act.

Agnes earned a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Multimedia Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
