The Coalition for Plastic Reduction (CPR) is planning a Lobby Day in Springfield on Wednesday, February 22.
LWV Chicago is a member of CPR, and we encourage our members to join in the fun of meeting with your state representative and senator in Springfield to garner support and co-sponsors for a ban on polystyrene foam foodware (takeout containers, cups, plates, egg cartons, etc).

Sign up to organize a meeting with your legislator. (Note: If someone else has already signed up for a meeting with your elected official, you don’t have to set up an additional meeting.)
If you cannot attend Lobby Day, you can still set a meeting with your elected officials to promote the legislation. Members of CPR will be happy to join you at your meetings. Please contact Claudia Jackson at league@lwvchicago.org to coordinate meeting times. If you are more than an hour outside of Chicago, please set up a Zoom meeting.
