Reproductive Healthcare Legislation

The Youth Health and Safety Act (HB 370) was passed by the Illinois General Assembly and signed by the governor. This act reaffirms Illinois' commitment to the fundamental principle that every person has the right to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions without interference, and it removes harmful barriers to reproductive healthcare for youth. It includes the Repeal of Parental Notification Act. This will take effect in June 2022.
