Engaging Students in Elections

“Democracy is a very precious sort of living creature,” LWV Chicago President Jane Ruby said. “There are three important parts to being an informed citizen — paying attention and learning, exercising your right to vote, and holding your government accountable and making sure that democracy is working for all. It is a circle of informed participation.”

We recently participated in a discussion with Loyola University Chicago students about the importance of voting.
