Disability Mayoral Forum

  • Access Living 115 West Chicago Avenue Chicago, IL, 60654 United States (map)

Join Access Living for a panel discussion on disability issues with Chicago mayoral candidates.

The election for the next mayor of Chicago takes place on February 28, 2023. Prior to early voting, Access Living is hosting a hybrid candidates’ forum on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Members of the disability community will hear from the candidates themselves about the issues most pressing to people with disabilities in the City of Chicago.

This is a hybrid event. The forum itself will take place at Access Living, and members of the public are welcome. Hosted by Andrés Gallegos, a Chicago healthcare law attorney veteran who currently serves as the President-appointed Chair of the National Council on Disability, the event will also be simultaneously live-streamed on Access Living’s website, allowing any participants who are not able or do not wish to attend in person to attend virtually.

The League of Women Voters of Illinois is a partner on this event.
