Protect Trans Children's Rights

The U.S. Department of Education has proposed a change to Title IX to protect the rights of trans children in schools, and the proposal is open for public comment. The comments are currently being flooded by anti-trans misinformation and bigotry. Stand up for trans rights!

Take Action

Take a few minutes today to leave a public comment on this proposed change. Some points to consider for your comments:

  • Title IX has protected women’s rights for decades. As our understanding of sex and gender evolves, we must also protect the rights of trans and gender-nonconforming children in schools. They, too, have a right to an education free of harassment.

  • The proposed rule is a necessary change that is within the rights of the Department of Education to protect all children in schools.

The comment period ends on September 12, 2022.
