Chicago Forest Preserve Walks|LaBagh Woods

Support the Cook County Forest Preserves! Join us for a guided wildflower walk and exceptional birding opportunities at LaBagh Woods as we learn from a Cook County Forest Preserve Naturalist.

We’ll meet at LaBagh Woods (N Cicero Ave, north of W Foster Ave, Chicago) in the Grove 3 Parking Lot. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for picnics under the shelter.

The trails are unpaved; dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes. Bring a camera or binoculars! Plentiful parking and bathrooms are available.

Register to attend below by May 6. The event is limited to ten people.

LWV Chicago is a supporter of the Cook County Forest Preserve VOTE YES referendum coming up on the November ballot—voters will have the opportunity to vote YES to protect clean water sources, air quality, and wildlife in Cook County. A property tax increase of 0.025% (less than $1.66/month for the vast majority of homeowners) will protect, restore, and expand the Cook County Forest Preserves.

More guided nature walks are planned in Chicago-area Forest Preserves. Learn more.
