Beginning in March: Book Discussions

The challenges facing Chicago—pension debt, poor election turnout, and tension between the mayor and City Council—are problems with clear solutions, according to a book, The New Chicago Way: Lessons from Other Big Cities.

Join LWV Chicago’s City Government Committee (CGC) for a series of lively discussions at the start of each CGC meeting on the first Wednesday of each month. The book is available at the Chicago Public Library and for purchase online. We’ll start with its introduction and first chapter.
