LWV Cook County hosts Cook County Health CEO Israel Rocha, Jr. for a virtual “Food for Thought” event.

Mr. Rocha heads up Cook County Health (CCH) with its $3.9 billion budget, almost half of the total Cook County budget for 2022. In addition to Stroger and Provident Health, CCH also includes Cook County Public Health Department, which has been the center of activity related to COVID, and an ambulatory community health network that reaches all parts of Cook County.
